The ORICO 1106SS, with a stainless steel chassis and SHOCK absorption unit inside, offers a secure and reliable hold for your drive. The built-in Power On/Off Switch allows you to turn on or turn off the drive easily for power saving and heat control, and to extend the lifetime of your drive.

Compatibility

  • This item fits in a standard 5.25-inch driver bay, and may not fit in chassis with a customized bay. Please ensure the 5.25-inch driver bay of your computer is standard size before ordering this item.
  • SATA drive is enabled for Plug and Play, Hot Swap. However AHCI (Serial ATA Advanced Host Controller Interface) is required to be enabled by configuring the BIOS for Plug and Play. Otherwise the drive won’t be shown in computer when first attached. Or you can “Scan for hardware changes” in “Device Manager”, or restart your computer.
